THE BEST WAY TO JUDGE A COMPANY'S WORK IS TO LISTEN TO
IT'S CUSTOMERS.
Here is what some of our's have to say...
"
I can remember Ken Smith telling me at the time that
if he did this project for SpawGlass, I would be
writing a letter of recommendation at the conclusion
of that project. Four and a half years and three
projects later I would have to agree.
P.J. Smith Electric was everything Ken Smith said they
would be. Their employees were not only competent,
but very cooperative as well. Manpower never seemed
to be a problem and they were always on or ahead of
schedule.
On the first projects we required payment and performance
bonds. They were not necessary. We never heard
from their suppliers. When we closed out the project
and called their suppliers there were no problems
regarding payments. On following projects, we did
not require bonds.

In all cases and at all junctures in the construction
process, P.J. Smith continues to employ the most
competent individuals for the tasks at hand. P.J.'s
projects manager's foreman and office staff know the
work of their discipline, the work of the other
trades and how the two dovetail together. When
discussing a topic they are invariably prepared,
informed, cooperative and in possession of a
constructive solution to a problem. This attitude
facilitates the work of the entire project and
benefits all parties involved including separate
contractors.

Project Manager and job site foreman provided above average
interest and cooperation in expediting electrical work to
overcome delays in the project schedule caused by other trades.

"
The advance planning and preparation and efficient relocation
certainly made a very difficult move bearable. The timely,
trouble-free start-up kept our customer delivery schedule
intact.

"
I enjoyed working closely with your company on this building,
and like you, am very proud of the results. Continued success
to you personally and your company.

As Director of Facilities, I was very intimate with
the project - was in fact the project manager
responsible for schedule, loss, workmanship,
safety, etc. of said project - reporting directly to
the Board.
P.J. Smith, as electrical contractor on this project,
met all contractual requirements and exhibited a high
level of workmanship. Staffing was outstanding and
consistent along with supervision. Coordination with
other discipline contractors at most times was very
good. Communication was excellent and could always
count on good responsiveness from both field
personnel and office personnel. Schedule was my
utmost concern and P.J. Smith at all times aided
said cause (project was substantially completed one
month ahead of schedule).

"
Mr. Smith, Jr., was an exemplary trades person in all respects.
He was a highly organized individual whose performance exemplified
excellence in all his work. His standards for organization,
accuracy, and effectiveness were at the highest possible
level. Through his efforts significant construction
milestones were attained at our project. I applaud his high
sense of urgency.

I wish that we had more contractors like P.J. Smith.
In a world where incompetence and lackadaisical
attitude are accepted by many as normal, P.J. Smith
stands out like a shinning star. They are trustworthy
and dependable. If they say they will do something
you can be sure that it will get done, and on time.
They run a well managed job, holding to schedules and
performing excellent quality work. They know what to,
how to and when to do it. Of great significance is
their unique ability to finish the work and get off
the job before the other trades. P.J. Smith is a
winner.
